The Pattern Keeper is an original 12 x 12-inch mixed media collage that exudes color, pattern, and the layered energy of collected places, handmade marks, and visual storytelling.
Every background paper in this piece was printed by hand, then layered with my signature painted collage elements, including bold shapes, patterned circles, leaves, dots, and floral-inspired forms. The bird images were sourced from a small vintage booklet I found at a flea market in Tokyo, adding a collected, travel-worn story to the piece.
DETAILS:
12 X 12 inches, hand-painted with acrylic ink on 100% cotton, heavyweight watercolor paper, then mounted on wood block, and framed. Total dimensions with the frame is 13 x 13 inches.
The frame is made of solid wood.
Each individual piece of this collage has been hand-painted, cut, and curated with intention and care.
